Aims and Scope

Lingua Didaktika, a quarterly journal founded in 2007, provides a forum for the full range of scholarly study of the languages and language learnings. The editors welcome articles and research reports addressing language, language learning, literature, and linguistic study, including:

  • analyses of texts and discourse;
  • studies of semantic systems and cultural classifications;
  • pragmatics, sociolinguistics, language typology;
  • language learning (ELT, Japanese, Arabic, Indonesian, language learning, etc)
  • ethnohistorical papers that draw significantly on linguistic data;
  • studies of linguistic prehistory and genetic classification, both methodological and substantive;
  • translation studies.
